"Although we strongly focus on digitisation, a number of customer still prefer to receive their mail by post. Communication by letter remains very important.”

Why did you choose EasyPost?

“We had been in contact with you a number of times, but we never really took things further. Only when we noticed that the current method of working with franking machines no longer met our demands, did we enter into discussions with EasyPost and end up working with you.”

Almost immediately we noticed a big win, both financial and operational.
Catherine Godfroid, Office & Procurement Manager

How did you operate before?

“Our organisation is growing both inorganically with take-overs, and organically by attracting new customers. Communication by letter remains very important, because, for example, every customer begins with a registered letter. After that, they can choose how they wish to communicate by letter: a normal letter by mail, registered letters by mail or completely digital. Although we focus strongly on digitisation, a number of customers still prefer to receive letters by mail.”

“We used to frank those letters ourselves. And that was certainly not always user-friendly. Managing the franking machine, load franking credit on time, and so on. In addition, it was laborious to work with a whole lot of cost locations and only a limited reporting was available. In the larger offices our mail was then collected via a collect-and-send system. In the smaller offices, we had to take our mail to the post ourselves.”
Lea Theyssen, Teamcoach Assistant Property Managers

How does EasyPost work for you now?

“EasyPost collects the mail from each Syncura office, either daily or three times a week, depending on the number of letters to be processed. And that can even take place outside office hours if the office wants.”

“Each month, you process around 4000 normal letters for us and 1000 registered letters. So around a quarter of all our mail is registered. You can imagine that it is a real plus that the proof of delivery can be easily found on the customer portal, together with a photo of each registered letter, as control mechanism. We used to have to wait for the proof of delivery slips to be returned by bpost... if they ever actually came back.”

“In short, the service via EasyPost now runs smoothly. Ultimately we are going to discuss the digitisation of the residual post with EasyPost - making use of EasyPost Connect. But until then, we are still a lot better off with EasyPost.”
